The FBF confirmed that the pre-selection training camp for the U17 Amazons will commence on Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Ayélawadjè 2 Hotel in Porto-Novo.
Thirty players have been invited for this initial phase, which will run until November 18. This camp represents a critical first step for Benin, setting the groundwork for a strong showing in the qualifiers.
In its official statement, the FBF specified the time and location for the players’ arrival, noting: “The players pre-selected for the U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, African zone, are invited to report to the Ayélawadjè 2 hotel in Porto-Novo on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at the latest.”
The training sessions are aimed at evaluating each player’s potential as the FBF seeks to build a robust lineup for the tournament.

The federation has also outlined specific documentation and equipment requirements for the selected players.
Each athlete is expected to bring training gear, a secure birth certificate or passport, and the original version of the CIP (Certificate of Identity and Personality), which is critical for eligibility verification.
