Youssoufa Moukoko makes Turkish switch as Germany forward joins Corum FK

Youssoufa Moukoko, the Germany and Cameroon forward, has joined Turkish club Corum FK from Copenhagen on loan in a move that takes the 21-year-old striker to the Super Lig.

The loan began on 1 September 2026 and is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when Moukoko is due to return to Copenhagen. No fee has been given for the temporary transfer.

Moukoko arrives after spending the previous season with Copenhagen, having joined the Danish club from Borussia Dortmund for €5.5m on 1 July 2025. His time in Denmark preceded the move to Corum, where he will continue his career as a left-footed centre-forward.

He had already featured for Copenhagen during the 2026-27 campaign before switching clubs, making two Superliga appearances and three in UEFA Conference League qualifying. He has yet to score or provide an assist in those five matches, and started 40% of his league games and 17% of his European qualifying appearances.

The move gives Corum a forward who has played at senior level in Germany, France and Denmark. Moukoko spent the majority of his development at Dortmund, joining the club’s youth system from St Pauli in 2016 before progressing through the under-17 and under-19 teams. He moved into Dortmund’s senior squad in 2020.

His previous senior career also includes a loan spell at Nice during the 2024-25 season. He returned to Dortmund at the end of that campaign before completing his permanent move to Copenhagen.

Moukoko won the German Cup with Dortmund in the 2020-21 season and was awarded the Fritz Walter Golden Medal in 2023. He also helped Germany Under-21s win the European Under-21 Championship in 2021.

The striker’s record in youth football was particularly notable. He finished as the leading scorer in five different campaigns across German under-17 and under-19 competitions, including 46 goals in the 2018-19 B-Junioren Bundesliga West season.

Corum have now added Moukoko to their squad for the 2026-27 campaign, with the forward contracted to return to Copenhagen at the conclusion of his loan on 30 June 2027.
