Youssef Zayzoun becomes unattached after Antequera CF departure

Spanish-Moroccan winger Youssef Zayzoun is without a club after ending his spell with Antequera CF.

The 25-year-old left-sided attacker departs the Primera Federacion – Group II club on 31 August 2026, having joined Antequera from UD Ourense earlier in the summer. Zayzoun moved to Antequera on 18 July, but his time at the club lasted only six weeks.

Zayzoun did not make an appearance for Antequera during the 2026-27 campaign. He is now listed without a club and is available after his departure from the Spanish side.

Born in Palamos, Spain, Zayzoun holds Spanish and Moroccan nationality. He plays primarily as a left winger and is right-footed. The 1.83m attacker had a market value of €50,000 at the time of his departure from Antequera.

His move to Antequera followed a short spell with UD Ourense, whom he joined from L’Escala on 2 February 2026. That switch was also completed without a transfer fee. Zayzoun had spent the first half of the 2025-26 season with L’Escala after leaving Cerdanyola FC in July 2025.

The winger’s previous clubs also include Vilassar de Mar, UB Conquense and CF Peralada. He joined Vilassar de Mar from UB Conquense in July 2023, before moving to Cerdanyola FC a year later. His time at Peralada began in August 2022 after he left UE Costa Brava.

Zayzoun’s senior career has therefore continued through a series of moves between Spanish clubs, with his latest change bringing his Antequera tenure to an end. The available career record includes Primera Federacion involvement, while his latest performance record shows no appearances, goals or assists in the competition.

Antequera had signed Zayzoun from UD Ourense only a few weeks before releasing him from the club’s squad. He leaves Antequera and is now officially without a club.
