Yassir Zabiri’s market value more than doubles after remarkable start in Spain

Yassir Zabiri’s market value has risen sharply following an outstanding start to the season, with the Morocco international now valued at €20m.

The young Lions de l’Atlas forward was valued at €9m in the previous update. His latest assessment represents an increase of €11m, or more than 122%, reflecting the rapid impact of his performances in Spain.

Zabiri has played seven league matches this season and scored seven goals, giving him an average of one goal per game. That return has established the forward as one of the early breakthrough players in the Spanish championship and has significantly increased his profile across the European market.

The 20-year-old is on loan at Racing Santander from Stade Rennais FC. The season-long agreement runs until 30 June 2027 and has given him the opportunity to continue his development in Spain while demonstrating the qualities that had already attracted attention from Moroccan and European football.

His record of seven goals in seven appearances has made him an important attacking outlet for Racing Santander. Zabiri’s ability to influence matches in the final third, combined with his finishing and movement in front of goal, has been central to his strong opening to the campaign.

That form has been reflected directly in his valuation. Within a few months, his estimated worth has climbed from €9m to €20m, a substantial rise for a player who remains in the development stage of his career.

Zabiri now has several months remaining to maintain that progress with Racing Santander. Continued performances at the same level would give him the chance to strengthen his standing in European football, with his early Liga displays already bringing him increased recognition.

Racing Santander’s next fixture will be against Valencia in the eighth round of the Spanish championship. The match is scheduled to follow Zabiri’s seven-goal start, with Racing Santander listed at 2.12 to win, the draw at 3.47 and Valencia at 3.05 by 1xbet.

Zabiri’s rapid rise also highlights the development pathway associated with Academie Mohammed VI, described as an “academy of stars” that has helped transform Moroccan football. His current form offers another example of a young Moroccan player gaining experience abroad while increasing his importance at international level.
