Yann Gboho: Olympiacos linked with Toulouse winger

French-Ivorian winger Yann Gboho has been linked with a move from Toulouse to Greek Super League club Olympiacos.

The 25-year-old has started both of Toulouse’s Ligue 1 matches so far this season, recording one assist and playing 94% of the available minutes. He has also contributed to half of the club’s goals in those appearances.

Gboho joined Toulouse from Belgian side Cercle Brugge in January 2024 in a €2.5m transfer. Since then, he has established himself as a left winger for the French club and wears the number 10 shirt.

His current market value is listed at €18m, while his Toulouse contract runs until 30 June 2027. The length of that agreement means any potential move to Olympiacos would involve the Greek club negotiating with Toulouse rather than waiting for the player to become a free agent.

Gboho began his senior career at Stade Rennais, where he won the French Cup in 2019, and spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Dutch club Vitesse. He later moved to Cercle Brugge before returning to France with Toulouse.

The reported interest comes at the start of a season in which Gboho has been a regular starter for Toulouse, with one goal involvement in his opening two league appearances.
