Yann Gboho attracting interest from Ligue 1 rivals as Toulouse future remains uncertain

Yann Gboho could remain in Ligue 1 next season, with RC Lens, AS Monaco and Olympique de Marseille monitoring the Toulouse FC winger.

The 25-year-old is also attracting interest from abroad, but he is reportedly open to continuing his career in France. A move to a club competing for European qualification could be particularly appealing as he considers his next step.

Gboho has one year remaining on his contract with Toulouse FC, and several top-flight clubs have made enquiries about his availability. However, none of those interested parties has yet made a formal offer, according to journalist Abdel Hamed.

RC Lens, AS Monaco and Olympique de Marseille have all gathered information about the player’s situation, but discussions have not progressed to the stage of concrete negotiations. Toulouse therefore remain without a firm proposal for the winger at this stage.

The possibility of a move to the United States is still active, with an offer from Kansas City continuing to stand. That option could provide Gboho with a serious alternative to remaining in France, and he is now expected to assess the different opportunities before deciding where his future lies.

The coming weeks could prove decisive in determining whether Gboho stays with Toulouse, joins another Ligue 1 club or moves abroad.

Gboho is reported to be under contract with Toulouse until June 2027 and has an estimated market value of 18 million euros. His annual salary in France is listed at 400,000 euros, equivalent to 260,000,000 CFA francs.

The winger joined Toulouse FC after developing his career in France and has continued to attract attention with his performances. Interest from clubs involved in the race for European places suggests that he could have options within Ligue 1 if a formal approach is made.

Toulouse will begin their French league campaign against Olympique Lyonnais. The match is scheduled to be the club’s first fixture of the season.

Betting company 1xBet lists Toulouse as having odds of 3.20 to win, while a draw is priced at 3.40. Olympique Lyonnais are rated at 1.94 to secure victory.
