Yacine Titraoui has pulled out of a proposed move to Olympiakos despite an agreement being in place between the Greek club and Sporting Charleroi, opening the door for RC Lens to step up their interest in the Algeria international.

Olympiakos and Charleroi had settled the terms of a transfer for the midfielder, but Titraoui has opted not to continue his career in Greece and has refused to give his approval to the deal, according to journalist Abdel Hamed. His decision has effectively ended negotiations between the two clubs.

The collapse of the move leaves Titraoui’s future wide open as he assesses other options in the transfer market. Charleroi, however, are determined not to sell below their valuation and, as reported exclusively by Africafoot, have set their conditions at €11m guaranteed, excluding any potential bonus payments.
