Wydad’s executive board meets branch leaders amid financial requests
Wydad Athletic Club’s Vice President, Kamal Addissaoui, chaired a crucial meeting with branch leaders on Wednesday, as details of the gathering have surfaced, revealing key strategic discussions and financial requests.
Addissaoui led the meeting on behalf of President Ait Mana, who was unable to attend due to professional commitments.
During the meeting, Addissaoui presented the executive board’s vision for the branches and outlined the strategic approach the club intends to pursue.
Branch leaders provided proposals along with estimated budgets for the upcoming season, which were officially handed over to the vice president.
In response, Addissaoui promised to review these proposals and to provide feedback through a formal communication from the executive board.
He also requested that all branches update their administrative status by the end of this month.
In the same meeting, some branches made a plea to the executive board to release part of their annual subsidy.
They stressed that this funding is crucial for fulfilling their financial obligations, including those to players and partner institutions.
This meeting comes at a pivotal time for Wydad, as the club looks to bolster its structure and ensure proper financial management across its branches.
The emphasis on administrative updates indicates a push towards more effective governance, aiming to streamline the operations of all branches under the club’s umbrella.
Wydad’s executive board is now expected to assess the budgetary requirements of each branch and address their financial needs in line with the broader goals of the club.
The request for subsidies by branch leaders highlights the ongoing financial challenges faced by several sporting sections, underscoring the need for timely financial support to maintain stability and competitiveness.
The formal response from the executive board is eagerly anticipated by all branches, as it will shape their operational capabilities in the coming months, especially in fulfilling their commitments to players and partners, ensuring that Wydad’s diverse sporting branches continue to operate smoothly and effectively.
