Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has set out an ambitious target for the Black Stars, insisting the team are determined to “win every match” as they step up their preparations for the tournament in the United States.

The Ghanaian squad have arrived in Providence, Rhode Island, where they will complete the final phase of their build-up ahead of their opening World Cup fixture.

The team travelled from Virginia on Thursday afternoon, landing at TF Green International Airport at around 6 p.m. before heading to their base camp.

With the final stages of preparation now underway, focus has shifted firmly to fine-tuning tactics, fitness and squad cohesion before the competition begins.

Speaking after the team’s arrival, Queiroz made clear the mentality he expects from his players as they prepare to represent Ghana on the world stage.

“Our goal is to play our best football and win every match.”

The Portuguese coach, who brings extensive international experience, also expressed confidence in the quality and character within his squad, praising both their footballing ability and professionalism.

“I have fantastic players and exceptional human beings. Our ambition is to play good football and win every match.”

Queiroz further addressed Ghana supporters, delivering a message of commitment and pride as the Black Stars aim to make a strong impression at the tournament.

“I want to guarantee that at the end of our matches, you will be proud of the Black Stars.”
