Nigeria striker Chidera Okoh has joined Spartak Varna from Botev Plovdiv on loan in a move between two Bulgarian top-flight clubs.

The 23-year-old centre-forward completed the switch on 8 September 2026, moving from Botev to Spartak while remaining in the efbet Liga. The transfer gives Okoh a new club within the same division as he continues his career in Bulgaria.

Okoh’s arrival adds an established centre-forward profile to Spartak Varna’s squad. His preferred position is through the middle of the attack, and his move represents a direct change of club rather than a transfer to a different league or country.

The Nigerian had been with Botev Plovdiv before making the temporary move to Spartak. Both clubs compete in Bulgaria’s efbet Liga, meaning Okoh will not need to adapt to a different domestic competition after completing the transfer.

His recorded market value is €500,000. That figure provides context to the move, although the transfer itself is a loan and no separate fee has been given for the switch.
