Victor Osimhen has become the most expensive signing in Turkish football history after Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer from Napoli in a deal reportedly worth €75 million.
The agreement includes €70 million in fixed payments and up to €5 million in performance-related bonuses.
The Nigerian striker, 26, has signed a four-year contract with Galatasaray and will reportedly earn €15 million net annually, in addition to €10 million from sponsorship endorsements.
Osimhen returns to the Turkish champions after a highly successful loan spell during the 2024–25 season.
During his time on loan, Osimhen scored 37 goals and registered seven assists across 41 appearances, playing a decisive role in helping Galatasaray clinch both the Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.
His clinical form not only won over fans but also positioned him as the top attacking priority for the club heading into the new campaign.
Despite receiving strong interest from several European clubs and a financially superior offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, Osimhen opted to remain in Istanbul.
His decision was influenced by Galatasaray’s ambition, competitive edge, and recent domestic success.
The move is seen as a significant statement of intent by Galatasaray, who are determined to strengthen their squad further and mount a serious challenge in European competitions.
