Ben Guerdane wrapped up their Tunisian league season with a commanding 3-0 win over Olympique Beja in their final match on Thursday, part of the 30th and final round of the 2024/25 campaign.
The home side asserted their dominance from the outset, controlling possession and dictating the tempo throughout the match.
Despite their early pressure, however, they struggled to break through Beja’s organized defense in the first half, which ended goalless as the visitors held firm.
The breakthrough finally came in the 69th minute when Khalil Balbouz found the back of the net, giving Ben Guerdane the lead.
The hosts then doubled their advantage in the 89th minute through Mohamed Aziz Khalifi, effectively sealing the three points.
With Beja’s resistance shattered, Ben Guerdane added a third goal in stoppage time, with Walid Mdahi striking in the 94th minute to cap off an emphatic performance.
The victory sees Ben Guerdane finish the season in ninth place with 35 points, a mid-table finish that reflects a challenging but steady campaign.
Olympique Beja, meanwhile, ends the season in 12th place with 29 points, narrowly avoiding the relegation battle.
