The right winger has signed a three-year professional contract, committing his future to the French champions after spending more than a decade within the club’s youth system.
His new deal follows months of speculation over his future.
The teenager was reportedly close to joining Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam during the current summer transfer window before ultimately deciding to remain in Paris.
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, PSG sporting director Luis Campos played an important role in convincing Ayari to continue his development at the club.
The report states that Campos was instrumental in persuading the youngster to commit to PSG’s long-term sporting project rather than pursue a move elsewhere.
Ayari joined the Paris Saint-Germain academy in 2014 at the age of six and has steadily progressed through every level of the club’s youth system.

Away from club football, Ayari also faces an important international decision.
Born in France to Tunisian parents, he is eligible to represent either France or Tunisia at senior international level.
The winger has featured for France at youth level, having represented several of the country’s age-group national teams.
