Standard Liege forward Timothe Nkada emerges as Troyes target

French-Cameroonian striker Timothe Nkada is being linked with a move from Standard Liege to Troyes, with the French club understood to be considering a deal for the 27-year-old.

Nkada joined Standard Liege from Rodez AF in August 2025 in a transfer valued at €1.8m. He is under contract with the Belgian club until 30 June 2028, meaning any move to Troyes would require an agreement between the two clubs rather than a free transfer.

The centre-forward has made one appearance in the Jupiler Pro League this season, playing seven minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He has not started a league match and has played 7% of Standard Liege’s available minutes.

Nkada’s current market value is listed at €2m, while his highest recorded value has been €2.5m. He previously spent the 2024-25 season with Rodez after joining the French club from Slovenian side FC Koper.

Troyes, who are based in France, are the club linked with the transfer as they seek to bring Nkada back to his home country. No fee or probability has been established for the proposed move, and Nkada remains a Standard Liege player with two years left on his contract.
