Spanish forward of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams, is reportedly open to a move to German side Bayern Munich.
According to Sky Sports, the Athletic Bilbao winger has given a clear indication to Bayern that he is keen on a move to Munich.
In response, Bayern’s sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund have intensified negotiations with the player’s representatives, with at least one meeting already held.
Nico Williams has a release clause in the region of €60 to €65 million, and his salary expectations are said to be around €20 million gross.
While Bayern are actively pursuing the deal, discussions remain in the early stages, and no agreement has been reached yet.
Meanwhile, Bayern continue to monitor PSG’s Bradley Barcola, though a move for the Frenchman appears far more complicated, with the Ligue 1 champions determined to retain him.
The German Bundesliga champions will reportedly try to sign both wingers this summer, especially with the departure of Leroy Sane imminent.
