Senegal midfielder Mor Ndiaye set for possible Pogon Szczecin exit
Senegalese midfielder Mor Ndiaye could be heading towards an early departure from Pogon Szczecin after attracting interest from clubs abroad ahead of the summer transfer window.
Reports in Poland suggest several teams are monitoring the 25-year-old defensive midfielder, with clubs from Saudi Arabia and Portugal said to be among those considering a move for the Senegalese player in the coming months.
Ndiaye only joined Pogon Szczecin from Athens Kallithea FC in a transfer reportedly worth around €50,000, but his stay in Poland may not last long if interest in him continues to grow.
The midfielder endured a difficult first campaign with the Polish side and struggled to cement a regular place in the starting line-up.
Across the season, Ndiaye made 19 appearances for the club but was unable to establish himself as a key figure in the squad.
Despite his limited role, the Senegalese midfielder remains a player of interest on the market. His experience, profile and potential appear to have convinced clubs outside Poland to continue tracking his situation as the transfer window approaches.
Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly among the strongest admirers of the midfielder, while a Portuguese side has also been linked with a possible move.
Although no official offer has yet been confirmed, Ndiaye’s future is expected to become one of the talking points surrounding Pogon Szczecin during the off-season.
The former Athens Kallithea player remains under contract with the Polish club until 2027, meaning Pogon Szczecin are not under immediate pressure to sell.
However, increasing foreign interest could place the club in a difficult position if concrete bids arrive during the summer.
Ndiaye’s situation is now expected to develop further in the coming weeks as clubs continue assessing their options before the transfer market officially opens.
