Sankhoun Diawara set for AC Milan move after agreement with Troyes

AC Milan have reached a full agreement with ESTAC Troyes to sign Senegalese defender Sankhoun Diawara, with only final administrative formalities delaying the completion of the transfer.

The 19-year-old has also settled personal terms with the Italian club after being convinced by Milan’s sporting project, clearing the way for his arrival in Serie A.

Diawara is now expected to join the Rossoneri once the remaining paperwork has been processed, with the deal described as imminent rather than conditional on any sporting issue.

Medical and formal unveiling to follow –

As soon as the last administrative details are resolved, Diawara will undergo his medical examination before being officially presented as an AC Milan player.

The agreement between Milan and Troyes covers the transfer of the defender on a permanent basis, with all key elements between the clubs already finalised.

Diawara, who has attracted attention for his potential, is now poised to take the next step in his career by moving from French football to one of Italy’s most historic clubs.

The player’s decision was strongly influenced by the Milan project, which he found persuasive both in terms of sporting ambition and his own development path.

Having quickly reached an understanding with Milan over his contract, Diawara removed the final major obstacle to the move, leaving only routine documentation to be completed before the transfer can be officially announced.
