Salim Akaaba makes Mouloudia switch after leaving RCA Zemamra

Morocco centre-forward Salim Akaaba has joined Mouloudia from RCA Zemamra on a free transfer, completing his latest move in the Moroccan forward’s career.

Akaaba, 25, made the switch on 2 September 2026 after spending the previous period with RCA Zemamra. He joins Mouloudia as a right-footed striker and becomes the club’s latest attacking addition.

The Casablanca-born forward has made six appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi, playing 186 minutes. His move comes after a short spell at RCA Zemamra, which he joined from Amal Al-Aroui on 1 January 2026, also as a free transfer.

Akaaba had moved to Amal Al-Aroui from El Buraq in July 2025. Before that, he spent time with Deren FC, joining the club from Um Al-Hassam FC in January 2024. His earlier career included a spell at Al-Khaldiya FC, where he arrived from Wahda Reserve in January 2021.

He began his senior pathway with Wahda Reserve after leaving MAT Youth in July 2020. MAT Youth had been his club since August 2017, when he moved up from Raja Youth.

Listed at 1.82m, Akaaba adds a central attacking option to Mouloudia’s squad. His playing profile is centred on the number nine role, with his record showing a series of moves between clubs completed without transfer fees.

The move also marks another new chapter for Akaaba after his recent run of transfers across Moroccan football. He leaves RCA Zemamra without a fee being paid and joins Mouloudia with no contract expiry date stated.

Akaaba’s arrival gives Mouloudia a forward with experience of Botola Pro Inwi football and a background built through spells at several clubs in Morocco and beyond. His most recent competitive record includes six league appearances and 186 minutes on the pitch.

The 25-year-old’s transfer was completed on 2 September 2026, with Akaaba now a Mouloudia player.
