Young talent Abasi Kyeyune has completed a transfer to Egyptian Premier League side Cleopatra Ceramica from Ugandan champions SC Villa. According to exclusive sources from Africafoot, the promising midfielder has inked a four-year contract with the Egyptian club, pending an official announcement.

Kyeyune’s management has confirmed the transfer, revealing that the talented youngster will commence his journey with Cleopatra Ceramica at the onset of the 2024/25 campaign.

The completion of the deal was marked by the signing of the necessary paperwork, with an official announcement expected from the club at the conclusion of the current season.

The 19-year-old midfielder rose to prominence on the continental stage following his stellar performance at the 2024 All-Africa Games in Ghana.

Kyeyune’s impressive displays for the Uganda U20 team, where he netted twice and provided five assists in four matches, garnered attention from clubs across Africa.

Uganda clinched the silver medal in the tournament, with Kyeyune emerging as one of the standout performers.
