RC Lens continue pursuit of RB Leipzig defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu

RC Lens are continuing negotiations with RB Leipzig over a possible loan move for El Chadaille Bitshiabu, although no agreement has yet been reached between the clubs or the other parties involved.

The discussions remain delicate, with Lens and Leipzig still working to find a compromise that meets both sides’ expectations. According to Sebastien Denis, talks are ongoing and the proposed transfer has not yet been finalised.

Lens are keen to make progress on the deal and remain engaged with the German club as they attempt to establish the precise terms of the operation. Further discussions in the coming days could bring the two sides closer together and gradually help resolve the outstanding issues.

Bitshiabu is under contract with RB Leipzig until June 2029. The defender, who is of Congolese origin, is regarded as a player with significant room for development and remains a valuable asset for the Bundesliga club.

According to Transfermarkt, the 20-year-old is currently valued at 18 million euros. That assessment reflects his standing in the market, despite the uncertainty surrounding his immediate future. Bitshiabu currently earns an annual salary of 2,830,000 euros, equivalent to 1,858,000,000 FCFA.

Any move to Lens would give the defender the opportunity to continue his development elsewhere while remaining tied to Leipzig on a long-term contract. However, the current discussions have yet to produce a formal agreement, and both clubs must still settle the details of a potential temporary transfer.

Lens’ interest comes as the club prepares for their second Ligue 1 fixture of the season. Strasbourg are due to face Lens in the second round of the French championship, adding to the immediate schedule surrounding the club while negotiations over Bitshiabu continue away from the pitch.

The betting company 1xbet has published odds for that match. Its prices list a Lens victory at 3.40, a draw at 3.60 and a Lens victory at 2.14, as stated in the source article. The company also includes a link for downloading its 1xbet application.

For now, Bitshiabu remains a RB Leipzig player, with the proposed loan to RC Lens still under discussion. The next round of negotiations will determine whether the clubs can narrow their differences and turn Lens’ interest into an agreement.
