Egyptian giants, Pyramids FC have reportedly initiated talks to sign South African international, Percy Tau.
Tau is currently a free agent after leaving Qatari side, Qatar SC.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker joined the Qatari Stars League outfit at the start of the year after they allegedly paid the outstanding €155,000 from Al Ahly.
During his stay at the Gulf, Tau grabbed four assists in the nine top-flight matches he played during the six months he was at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Having won the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history, Pyramids are seeking to improve their squad ahead of next season.
The club has identified the former Brighton forward as a possible addition to the squad.
Tau had a trophy-laden stint in the Egyptian capital with the Club of the Century, as he amassed a total of 13 titles during his time with Ahly.
Such was his form during the 2022/23 campaign, he even won CAF’s Interclub Player of the Year that season, the most prestigious individual honour given to an African player plying their trade on the continent.
