OFFICIAL: ETO’O ABSENT AGAINST PSG
There’s no longer any doubt: Samuel Eto’o will be absent for Chelsea’s quarter-final first leg against PSG at the Parc des Princes this Wednesday.
Suffering from a hamstring injury sustained during the match against Arsenal (6-0), the Chelsea striker hasn’t fully recovered yet. With the return leg scheduled for April 8, coach José Mourinho is unwilling to take any risks.
Additionally, Ashley Cole is still struggling with a knee issue and won’t be available. Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah are also ineligible for the match, having already played in the Champions League this season with Benfica and Basel, respectively.
