Nourdin Boukhari departs Almere City coaching staff

Almere City have confirmed that assistant coach Nourdin Boukhari has left his position at the Dutch club as part of a wider restructuring of the technical staff.

The club announced on Tuesday that Boukhari, who had been working alongside head coach Jeroen Rijsdijk since last season, will not continue in his role. His departure forms part of a series of changes affecting the team’s backroom structure.

In addition to Boukhari’s exit, Almere City also confirmed that team manager Jasper Meeder will leave the club after eight years of service. Meeder is set to join FC Utrecht, where he will take on the same position.

Further changes have also been made within the technical setup. Video analyst Hans de Wit will depart the club and be replaced by Sem Schoolmeester, who previously worked in a similar role with Ajax’s first team.

The club has also seen earlier movement within its coaching structure, with assistant coach Danny Schenkel having already indicated his intention to seek a new challenge after three seasons at Almere City.

Explaining the changes, the club confirmed Boukhari’s departure as a mutual decision. The Moroccan coach had been part of Rijsdijk’s technical team since joining the club last season and played a role in supporting first team preparations during that period.

Almere City acknowledged the contribution of all departing staff members, expressing appreciation for their work and commitment during their time at the club.

“Almere City FC thanks Nourdin, Hans, Danny and Jasper for their commitment and contribution to the club and wishes them much success in the rest of their careers!”

The restructuring marks a significant shift within the club’s backroom operations as Almere City prepare for the next phase of their technical development.
