AC Milan have completed the signing of highly rated Moroccan midfielder Yahya Idrissi from Chelsea, securing the 18-year-old’s services on transfer deadline day.
Idrissi leaves Stamford Bridge after a long association with the London club, having joined Chelsea’s academy at the age of 11.
He progressed through the youth ranks and signed his first professional contract in April 2025, marking his steady rise within one of Europe’s most competitive development systems.
The Serie A giants confirmed that Idrissi’s arrival falls under their “Milan Futuro” project — a long-term initiative focused on identifying, nurturing and preparing elite young talents capable of shaping the club’s future.
Although still at the early stages of his career, Idrissi already boasts international experience at youth level. Born in Watford, England, he has represented Morocco across the U16, U17 and U18 categories, opting to commit his international future to the Atlas Lions.
At Milan, the teenager will initially link up with the club’s Futuro squad, where he will undergo a tailored development programme aimed at easing his transition into senior football.
