Mohamed Sabbah joins Al-Ansar FC from FC Mouna
Lebanon and Ivory Coast winger Mohamed Sabbah has joined Al-Ansar FC from FC Mouna, moving to the Lebanese Premier League club at the age of 24.
Sabbah, who was born in Abidjan, switches clubs on 20 August 2026 after leaving FC Mouna. He will play for Al-Ansar as a left winger and has been assigned the role in the club’s attacking options.
The move brings the dual-national player to Lebanon, where Al-Ansar compete in the country’s top division. Sabbah’s arrival also represents a return to one of his countries of nationality, having been born in Ivory Coast and holding both Lebanese and Ivorian nationality.
At 1.78m, Sabbah is a left-sided attacker whose preferred foot is listed as both. That gives him the ability to operate from the flank while using either side naturally in possession, although his primary position remains on the left wing.
His previous club was FC Mouna. No earlier clubs or senior international appearances are established as part of the move, so the transfer places the focus on his next step with Al-Ansar and his introduction to the Lebanese Premier League.
Al-Ansar have also confirmed Sabbah’s registration as part of their squad. He will wear number 12 for the club, adding a new attacking option to the team after completing his switch from FC Mouna.
Sabbah’s arrival comes shortly after his 24th birthday, with the player born on 20 May 2002. His move was recorded on 20 August 2026, marking the beginning of his Al-Ansar spell.
The transfer does not include a published fee or contract expiry date. Sabbah has nevertheless completed his move and is now an Al-Ansar FC player.
