Marcel Koller, the head coach of the Al Ahly first football team, has cautioned his players against nervousness and dissent towards the referee’s decisions during the highly anticipated summit clash against Zamalek scheduled for Friday evening in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.
During the team’s final briefing, Koller emphasized the importance of staying focused solely on performance and avoiding any provocation that could lead to receiving yellow cards during the match to ensure a positive outcome in the summit.
Koller also urged his players to capitalize on scoring opportunities, while emphasizing the defenders’ vigilance in front of the goal and the necessity of avoiding any mistakes that could cost the team dearly during the match.
Al Ahly continues its preparations for the match through daily training sessions at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium, focusing on technical aspects tailored to the plan that has been drilled into the players in recent days to ensure the readiness of all elements for the match.
The Al Ahly delegation will fly out tomorrow, Wednesday, with the decision to shorten the stay in Saudi Arabia to monitor the condition of the injured players and determine whether they will travel with the delegation.
