Maghreb Fès coach highlights team’s readiness amid venue changes
Maghreb Fès head coach Arena Gugliermo expressed confidence in his team’s preparedness for their upcoming clash against RS Zemamra in the Professional League on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Gugliermo acknowledged the benefits of an extended preparation period compared to previous matches.
“We had ample time to prepare for this game, which allowed us to address several areas that needed attention,” he stated.
The match will take place at Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia, a switch from their usual venue in Fès. While acknowledging the challenges of venue changes, Gugliermo appeared unfazed.
“The pitch at Al-Bashir is in better condition compared to Kenitra’s, even though it hosts multiple games.
However, I don’t concern myself too much with switching venues,” he remarked.
“My focus remains on ensuring my players are ready for each match and on helping our injured players recover fully,” he added.
“I sincerely hope we can return to playing at our home stadium in Fès for future fixtures in the tournament.”
Maghreb Fès faces RS Zemamra with optimism, aiming to capitalize on their enhanced preparation and adapt to the temporary change in venue.
Fans eagerly anticipate the return of home games in Fès, but until then, Gugliermo and his squad remain committed to delivering strong performances, regardless of the location.
