Galatasaray are being linked with a summer move for Karlsruher SC forward Louey Ben Farhat, with the teenager reportedly a 15% possibility to swap Germany’s 2. Bundesliga for the Turkish Süper Lig.

The 19-year-old second striker, who holds both Tunisian and German nationality, is currently valued at €7.50m according to Transfermarkt, a figure likely to frame any negotiations between the clubs. His contract situation at Karlsruhe is unclear, with no expiry date listed, which has fuelled talk that the player could move on in the near future, either for a fee or, at a later stage, as a potential free agent if his deal is allowed to run down.

Ben Farhat, born on 19 July 2006 in Waiblingen, has been developing at Karlsruher SC, where he wears the number 19 shirt and operates primarily as an attacking second striker. Standing at 1.75m and preferring his right foot, he has been used in advanced roles in the 2. Bundesliga, a league increasingly scouted by leading clubs in mainland Europe.

Karlsruher SC currently compete in Germany’s second tier, while Galatasaray remain one of the dominant forces in Türkiye’s Süper Lig, regularly involved in European competition. A switch from the Wildparkstadion to Istanbul would therefore represent a significant step up in profile and expectation for the youngster.

Recent performances for Karlsruhe in league action have underpinned his status as one of the club’s most promising attacking talents, with his displays helping to justify his multi-million-euro valuation amid growing transfer speculation.

Should a move materialise, a transfer to Galatasaray could accelerate Ben Farhat’s progression, enhance his reputation on a bigger stage and potentially shape his long-term international and club career at the very top level.
