Liverpool link emerges for Stuttgart winger Jamie Leweling

Jamie Leweling, the German-Ghanaian winger at Stuttgart, has been linked with a move to Liverpool in a rumour connecting Bundesliga and Premier League clubs.

The potential transfer is currently given a 27% probability, with Leweling’s market value listed at €40m. No fee has been agreed and the link does not represent a confirmed offer from Liverpool.

Leweling, 25, joined Stuttgart permanently from Union Berlin in July 2024 after spending the previous season on loan at the club. Stuttgart paid €6m for the right winger, who signed a contract running until 30 June 2029.

He has made one Bundesliga appearance for Stuttgart in the 2026-27 campaign, playing 31% of the available minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He has not featured in the DFB-Pokal this season.

Leweling was part of the Stuttgart side that won the German Cup in 2024-25, one year after completing his permanent move. He has also represented Germany and Ghana by nationality, and featured once at the 2026 World Cup, with eight per cent of the available minutes.

The Liverpool rumour has emerged with Leweling settled under a long-term Stuttgart contract, meaning any prospective deal would involve negotiations with the Bundesliga club rather than a free transfer.
