Pierre Kalulu on the radar of Liverpool and Manchester United

Juventus could be set for a significant financial windfall this summer, with growing interest from England in their versatile defender Pierre Kalulu.

Per reports, the 25-year-old centre-back, who has France and DR Congo roots has emerged as a prime transfer target for both Liverpool and Manchester United, setting the stage for a potential bidding war between two of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

Kalulu, who joined Juventus from AC Milan just last summer in a deal worth €15 million, has enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in Turin. The Frenchman has been a consistent presence in the Bianconeri backline, making 46 appearances across all competitions while contributing two goals and an eye-catching seven assists—an impressive return for a central defender.

His performances have not gone unnoticed. Both Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly keen on reinforcing their defensive units with a player who offers not only solidity at the back but also composure on the ball and attacking support when required. At 25, Kalulu is viewed as a long-term investment capable of anchoring a defence for years to come.

Despite his importance to the squad, Juventus appear open to negotiations—but only under firm conditions. The Italian giants are said to have placed a €40 million price tag on the defender, a figure that reflects both his current form and future potential. That valuation represents a significant markup from the fee Juventus paid less than a year ago, underlining the club’s strong bargaining position.

Kalulu’s current deal reportedly runs until 2039, giving Juventus additional leverage in any negotiations and ensuring they are under no pressure to sell unless their valuation is met.

With the summer transfer window approaching, all eyes will be on whether Liverpool or Manchester United are willing to meet Juventus’ demands—or if a bidding war could push the price even higher for one of Europe’s most in-demand defenders.
