The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association has issued penalties for the 14th round of the NILE League, in accordance with the list of sanctions in the competition regulations for the 2023-2024 season.
The penalties are as follows:
Penalties for Smouha vs. Modern Future Match
- Mohamed Mohamed Haitham El Maghraby, player for Smouha, has been suspended for one match due to a red card after receiving two yellow cards in the same match.
- Mahmoud Ahmed Mahmoud Rizk, player for Modern Future, has also been suspended for one match due to a red card for preventing a clear scoring opportunity.
- Mohamed Sadek, coach of Modern Future, has been suspended for two matches and fined £20,000 for unsportsmanlike behavior towards the match supervisor.
- Modern Future has been fined £25,000 for their executive director Hisham Arabi entering the referees’ area after the match to protest against the referee’s decisions.
Penalties for Farko vs. Al Ahli Bank Match
Furthermore, the Egyptian Clubs Association announced penalties for the Farko vs. Al Ahli Bank match from round 16, which took place last Friday:
- Karim Hassan Shahata, Al Ahli Bank’s football director, has been suspended for one match and fined £20,000 for being sent off after entering the pitch to protest against the referee’s decisions.
- Al Ahli Bank has been fined £20,000 for collective objection by the coaching and administrative staff against the match referee.
- Karim Hassan Shahata has been fined an additional £100,000 for inciting withdrawal from the match and not completing it.
