Modeste M’Bami Cleared to Play for Le Havre After Receiving International Transfer Certificate
Le Havre AC’s midfield is about to receive a significant boost. Modeste M’Bami, the experienced Cameroonian international, has finally received his International Transfer Certificate (ITC)—the final administrative hurdle preventing him from debuting with the Ligue 2 side.
After a career that included stints at PSG, Olympique de Marseille, Spain, China, and most recently Millonarios de Bogota in Colombia, M’Bami joined Le Havre earlier this year. But due to delays in transfer documentation, he had been ineligible to play.
With the ITC now in hand, M’Bami is expected to feature in Erick Mombaerts’ squad for this Friday’s match against Orléans, a team recently promoted to Ligue 2.
This comes as good news for Le Havre, who are performing strongly this season and will welcome the experience and composure that M’Bami, 32, brings to the midfield. His presence could prove pivotal in their promotion campaign.
