Kaizer Chiefs unveil new Kappa fan range as build-up to 2026-27 season gathers pace
Kaizer Chiefs have launched a new 2026-27 supporters’ apparel range, giving Amakhosi fans a fresh collection of Kappa-branded gear to wear as anticipation builds for the coming campaign.
The Soweto club, who had already revealed their match kits for the new season in partnership with Kappa, have now expanded the focus to the stands, aiming to ensure supporters can travel to stadiums “in style” while backing the Glamour Boys throughout 2026-27.
In a statement announcing the collection, Chiefs said the range was “fully geared for the entire Amakhosi family, from women’s and kids’ ranges to training wear, supporter leisurewear and on-field-inspired training gear”.
The club added: “What a collection. What a season. What a kingdom. The Kingdom Rises.”
The new line is available via the Kaizer Chiefs official website, with the club urging fans to browse an online gallery to get an early look at the full offering.
New range follows Toyota Cup triumph
The unveiling comes on the back of a morale-boosting pre-season success, with Chiefs recently lifting the Toyota Cup for the first time.
They claimed the trophy thanks to a 1-0 victory over Scottland FC at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, a result that has added to the sense of optimism surrounding the club’s preparations.
With the new campaign approaching, Chiefs will be aiming to build on that winning feeling, using the Toyota Cup success as a platform both on the field and commercially.
The club will hope that aligning the team’s revamped look with a comprehensive supporters’ range will strengthen its connection with fans, who can now mirror the players’ style in the stands and beyond.
Merchandise push as season nears
The expanded Kappa collection, which covers everything from casual wear to gear inspired by training ground apparel, is positioned as a key part of Chiefs’ wider build-up to the new season.
Supporters are being encouraged to explore the full catalogue online, where the entire 2026-27 supporters’ range is now on sale.
The launch sits alongside growing interest in the transfer market and broader football developments, including renewed attention on former Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, who is attracting interest from Iraqi clubs, and a South African player who has secured a move abroad after a detour in his career.
As Chiefs look to translate pre-season encouragement into competitive success, the club is banking on a combination of on-pitch momentum and off-pitch branding – with the latest Kappa range at the centre of that strategy – to carry “the Kingdom” into the new campaign.
