JS Kabylie has bolstered its attacking lineup with the acquisition of Burkinabe international Cheikh Djibril Ouattara. The forward, who previously played for Renaissance Berkane in Morocco, has committed to a three-year contract with the Djurdjura-based club.
Ouattara, 24, becomes the 10th player to join JS Kabylie this season. He follows in the footsteps of Malian Sadio Kanoute and Senegalese Babacar Sarr, making him the third foreign recruit for the Canaries.
The club’s management had previously decided to part ways with two other sub-Saharan players, Gabonese Essang Matouti and Malian Mamadou Traoré, though negotiations with their agents remain unresolved.
Ouattara’s signing adds significant firepower to the JSK attack, reflecting the club’s strategic efforts to enhance its squad depth and performance for the upcoming season.
His experience in the Moroccan league, combined with his international experience with the “B” Stallions, is expected to bring a new dimension to the team’s offensive capabilities.
In addition to Ouattara, JS Kabylie has been active in the transfer market, securing the services of several key players.
This includes Madani, Gaya Merbah, Lahmeri, Hamidi, Adjout, Mokedem, and Chekal, all of whom are expected to contribute to the team’s ambitions this season.
The arrival of these players signifies JS Kabylie’s intent to compete at the highest level, both domestically and potentially in continental competitions.
The club’s strategic signings are aimed at creating a balanced and formidable squad capable of challenging for titles and achieving consistent success.
As the new season approaches, all eyes will be on Ouattara and his fellow new recruits to see how they integrate into the team and impact its performance.
The management’s decisions and investments in the squad indicate a clear vision for progress and a commitment to excellence, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead for JS Kabylie and its supporters.
