Jordan Henderson to join Chelsea on free transfer with deal agreed to 2028

Chelsea have reached a full agreement to sign former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson on a free transfer, with the midfielder expected to put pen to paper on a contract running until June 2028 this week.

The 34-year-old England international, who left Brentford recently and is currently a free agent, has accepted a two-year deal with the option period taking the agreement through to 2028, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
