Iyed Hadj Khalifa: Tunisian striker linked with Dinamo Tbilisi exit to Egypts Smouha
Tunisia centre-forward Iyed Hadj Khalifa, currently on loan at Georgian side Gori FC from Dinamo Tbilisi, is being linked with a move to Egyptian Premier League club Smouha, according to transfer data emerging on 5 July.
The 26-year-old, born in Sousse and standing at 1.92m, only joined Dinamo Tbilisi from Tunisian outfit Union Sportive de Ben Guerdane in February 2026, before being sent on a loan transfer to Gori FC in March. His temporary spell in Georgia is scheduled to end on 31 December 2026, when he is due to return to Dinamo.
Smouhas interest comes with Hadj Khalifas current market value listed at 200,000, down from a peak of 350,000 in mid-2025 during his time at US Monastir. The probability of a transfer is currently marked as ? and no contract expiry date is recorded, leaving open the possibility that any future departure from Dinamo Tbilisi could yet lead to a free agent scenario if his deal in Georgia is nearing its end.
Hadj Khalifa has built his career largely in Tunisias domestic leagues, progressing from US Tataouines U21 side to the senior team in 2021, before spells at ES Rades, CS Hammam-Lif, US Monastir and Ben Guerdane. The right-footed attacker, whose main position is centre-forward, moved outside Tunisia for the first time in 2026 when Dinamo Tbilisi brought him to the Erovnuli Liga.
Recently, Hadj Khalifa featured for Gori FC in a Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga fixture against Dinamo Tbilisi on 29 June 2026, a match that ended in a 1-1 draw. The Tunisian led the line for Gori, completing the game without scoring but underlining his status as a first-team option in Georgia.
With Smouha exploring a deal from Dinamo Tbilisi and his valuation relatively modest at 200,000, any agreement that materialises could offer Hadj Khalifa a prominent stage in Egypts top flight and a fresh test that may redefine his trajectory across African and Middle Eastern football markets.
