Inter Milan nearing deal for Franco-Ivorian striker Ange-Yoan Bonny
Inter Milan are on the verge of completing the signing of 21-year-old forward Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma Calcio, with negotiations reportedly in the final stages ahead of a potential summer move.
The Franco-Ivorian striker, who has caught the attention of top clubs across Italy and England, appears set to join the Nerazzurri in a long-term deal.
Despite interest from Serie A rivals including Napoli, AS Roma, and Juventus, as well as Premier League side Chelsea, it is Inter who have moved decisively and now look poised to secure his signature.
Italian outlet FCInterNews reports that an agreement has already been reached between Bonny and the Milan-based club.
The terms of the proposed deal include a five-year contract, with the striker set to earn a net annual salary of €2 million—a significant increase from his current wage at Parma.
Bonny, who came through the youth system at Châteauroux in France, has grown in stature during his time at Parma. Since joining the club, he has steadily developed into a key player, culminating in a standout 2024–25 campaign.
Over the course of the season, he featured in 37 Serie A matches, netting six goals and contributing four assists. His athleticism, versatility, and work rate have drawn praise, with his performances not going unnoticed by scouts from across Europe.
Although Parma are reportedly open to the idea of his departure, they are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of €20 million—an amount that exceeds Bonny’s current market valuation but reflects his growing importance and future potential.
While the fee has yet to be finalised, Inter are understood to be willing to meet Parma’s asking price in order to conclude the deal swiftly and avoid further competition.
Bonny remains under contract with Parma until June 2027 and currently earns a yearly salary of €540,000. His prospective move to Inter would mark a considerable step forward in his career both in terms of sporting ambition and financial reward.
Should the transfer go through as anticipated, it would represent a key addition to Inter’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
The club, known for blending youth with experience, sees Bonny as a player who can contribute immediately while also offering long-term value.
His profile fits the club’s strategic approach of recruiting dynamic, high-potential talents capable of developing under top-level coaching.
While no official announcement has been made by either club, sources close to the negotiations suggest that only minor formalities remain before the move is finalised.
Inter are expected to present Bonny once contractual details with Parma are concluded, potentially making him one of their first major signings of the summer transfer window.
For Bonny, the anticipated switch to San Siro would offer a significant platform to showcase his abilities at one of Europe’s most storied clubs. As he prepares for what could be a defining move in his young career, all eyes will be on Milan to see when the deal is sealed.
