Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies has reaffirmed his commitment to the club, signing a five-year contract that secures his future in Bavaria.
The Canadian left-back, who joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2019, remains dedicated to the German giants.
“I’m very happy and buzzing to have extended my contract at Bayern. It was a long time coming, but we got the job done. I see myself in Munich for the next five years or even longer,” Davies said.
The 24-year-old, who made his Bayern debut in January 2019, has become a key player for the club. His blistering pace and defensive ability have made him one of the world’s top full-backs.
With his new deal, Davies is set to earn an annual salary of €15 million. This season, he has featured in 28 matches across all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists.
As Bayern prepare for their Champions League showdown against Bayer Leverkusen, Davies’ long-term commitment provides a major boost to the team’s stability and future ambitions.
