Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, says the fans of Galatasaray ‘will always remain in my heart’ as his loan deal draws closer.
Osimhen joined the Turkish giants on a long-season loan deal from Napoli last summer.
He has so far scored 21 goals in 24 matches for Galatasaray in the ongoing season.
Osimhen, meanwhile, has been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.
He will return to Naples in the summer, but is expected to leave the club permanently.
Speaking in a recent interview with NTV, reported via TMW, Osimhen commented on his approaching Galatasaray departure: “There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment,” he said.
“I’m enjoying all of this. The fans have supported me incredibly. Not just me, but my teammates and family, too. The best decision for everyone will be made. But Galatasaray will always remain in my heart.”
There is a release clause worth €75m that allows Osimhen to leave for clubs outside Italy this summer.
