The president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has been elected to serve as an Executive Council member for the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Kurt Okraku, who also serves as the President of WAFU Zone B, ran unopposed for the position and has successfully earned a place on CAF’s decision-making body. His new role will allow him to shape key policies that impact the development of football across the continent.
His elevation is expected to bring significant benefits to Ghana and WAFU B, including greater access to developmental programs, increased participation in continental football initiatives, and stronger representation in major discussions.
The Ghanaian football administrator is currently serving his second term as President of the Ghana Football Association.
Kurt Okraku’s new position at CAF will provide a platform for him to now influence the growth and development of football on the entire continent.
