Bayern Munich rule out Michael Olise January transfer

Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Michael Olise may remain strong, but Bayern Munich have no intention of allowing the French winger to leave during the winter transfer window.

PSG coach Luis Enrique is reportedly a long-term admirer of Olise, yet Bayern view the 24-year-old as central to their ambitions this season.

Bayern have already resisted approaches from Real Madrid and are determined to keep their squad intact as they target the Champions League. Transfer specialist Christian Falk said the German champions will not entertain bids for a player they consider essential.

“There is absolutely no chance of the Frenchman leaving during the winter transfer window,” Falk said. “Bayern are not a club that usually does business in winter: they will not sell any player they need for their season.”

He added that neither PSG, Real Madrid nor a Premier League club would be able to sign Olise in January. “He will remain in Munich,” Falk stated.

Rather than considering a sale, Bayern are reportedly exploring a contract extension to protect Olise’s long-term future. The article suggests that only an extraordinary summer offer, potentially close to €200 million, could make Bayern reconsider their stance.
