Franco-Cameroonian star Kylian Mbappe hungry for success ahead of new season
France international of Cameroonian descent Kylian Mbappe is hungry for success ahead of his second season with giants Real Madrid.
Mbappe’s debut campaign was marred by the Spanish giants trophyless run during the 2024/25 football season. The highly-profiled forward’s performance overshadowed the clubs unimpressive season.
The former Paris Saint Germain star racked up 31 goals in the Spanish La Liga, earning him his first European Golden Boot at the end of the season, surpassing Viktor Gyokeres.
In all competitions, the Frecnh-Cameroonian attacker netted 44 goals and provided 5 assists in 59 matches for Real Madrid in all competitions.
As the team gear up for the new season, Mbappe has assured the fans of achieving great success with the club.
“New season, hungry to do something great. Let’s go all together, Madridistas” he wrote on social media.
Since joining Real Madrid, Mbappe has only claimed the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. At the same time, he has yet to lift the coveted Champions League trophy—unlike PSG, who won it in their very first season after Kylian’s departure.
