Several clubs have lined up to sign Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea before the summer transfer window ends.
According to multiple reports, Bayern is pushing to secure the Chelsea forward on loan as it looks to bolster its attacking options.
Journalist Ben Jacobs confirms that negotiations between the German champions and Jackson are ongoing, with the player open to a move to the Bundesliga.
However, Jacobs also notes that Chelsea are engaged in active discussions with four other clubs regarding Jackson’s future.
While the identities of those clubs remain undisclosed, the Blues expect the 24-year-old to depart Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window.
Jackson, who has become surplus to requirements at Chelsea, is open to a departure this summer.
As reported by Africasoccer, the striker is keen on a move to Bayern Munich and is waiting for Chelsea to agree terms with the German Bundesliga champions.
