FIFA May Rankings: Spain Remains Top, Brazil Climbs to Fourth
FIFA released its May rankings on Thursday, with little movement in the top positions. Only 13 international matches were considered for this update, meaning that 143 teams retained their positions from the previous rankings.
Spain remains at the top of the global rankings, maintaining its lead over Germany and Portugal, who rank second and third, respectively. Brazil saw a significant improvement, climbing two places to claim fourth position, while Colombia drops to fifth.
Other nations in the top ten include Uruguay, Argentina, Switzerland, Italy, and Greece, all of whom hold steady in their positions from previous months.
