The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) declared the suspension of Egypt’s Al Masry Club from registering and signing any new players.
This decision by FIFA stems from a complaint lodged by Tunisian player Rami Al Bedoui against Al Masry, seeking financial compensation and the activation of his contract with the club, which was signed but not implemented.
Ragab Abdelkader, the vice president of Al Masry Club, had earlier affirmed in televised statements the club’s efforts to resolve Al Bedoui’s dues crisis, aiming to avert the sanction of registration suspension.
FIFA, through its official website, reiterated the ongoing prohibition on the registration of four other Egyptian clubs, namely Zamalek, Haras El Hodood, Misr Lel Makkasa, and Eastern Company.
