Farès Ghedjemis, the 22-year-old Algerian forward for Frosinone, has been awarded Serie B’s Player of the Month for March 2025.
The accolade recognises his pivotal contributions during the month, where he netted two goals in as many matches, significantly aiding his team’s efforts to stave off relegation.
Ghedjemis’s standout performances came in victories against Brescia and Sampdoria. In the 2–1 win over Brescia, he opened the scoring with a precise curling shot from the right wing in the 61st minute.
Later, in the 85th minute against Sampdoria, he sealed the match with a well-placed strike from the edge of the area. These two goals marked his first of the season, underscoring his growing influence in the squad.
Since joining Frosinone from French club Rouen in January 2024, Ghedjemis has become an integral part of the team.
His dynamic playstyle and technical prowess have been instrumental in Frosinone’s current ten-match unbeaten streak, providing a crucial boost as they aim to secure their position in Serie B.
With four matches remaining in the season, Frosinone holds a four-point advantage over the first relegation spot.
The team’s continued success will be vital in ensuring their survival in Italy’s second division.
Ghedjemis’s recognition as Player of the Month highlights his rapid adaptation to Italian football and his potential for further growth in the coming seasons.
