Eric Mouloungui, who has been free since his departure from the Emirati club Al Wahda, has returned to Nice. The former Nice striker has been allowed by the club’s leaders to train with the reserves. Mouloungui, a left-handed Gabonese international aged 30, previously played for Nice between 2008 and 2012, featuring in 106 matches for the club and scoring 18 goals in Ligue 1. He will use this opportunity to regain fitness on the Cote d’Azure before seeking a new club for the upcoming season.
Similarly, another former Nice player, Franck Dja Djédjé, recently did the same after leaving Chernomorets Odessa in Ukraine. The 27-year-old has since signed a contract with Sarpsborg 08, a Norwegian first division club, until June 15th.
