Enock Assigno gives ASCK early advantage over ASEC Mimosas in CAF Champions League tie

ASCK hold a 1-0 lead over ASEC Mimosas in the first leg of their CAF Champions League first preliminary-round tie, with Enock Assigno scoring the only goal of the match so far.

The Togolese side broke the deadlock in the 20th minute after finding a way through despite ASEC Mimosas having enjoyed the greater share of the play during the opening stages.

Assigno was released into space behind the ASEC defence and advanced towards goalkeeper Charles Folly Ayayi. With the chance presented, the ASCK forward kept his composure and produced a well-placed finish beyond the Ivorian goalkeeper.
