Aly Cissokho Returns to the Premier League With Aston Villa Move

Aly Cissokho is officially back in the English Premier League. The Franco-Senegalese left-back has agreed to join Aston Villa, marking his return to England after a previous loan spell at Liverpool, where he made 15 Premier League appearances, including 12 starts.
Cissokho was back at Valencia, where he was under contract until 2016, but the defender had no intention of staying long. After drawing interest from several Premier League clubs, the 26-year-old has now settled on Aston Villa, who are aiming to rebuild after finishing 15th last season.
Pending a successful medical, Cissokho will sign a four-year contract with the Midlands club, bringing added experience and depth to Villa’s defense.
