En-Nesyri transfer interest confirmed as Al-Ittihad striker stays focused on season

Youssef En-Nesyri has received offers to leave Al-Ittihad during the upcoming winter transfer window, but the Morocco striker is currently focused on continuing with the Saudi club, his agent has said.

Fahd Sareh told Saudi newspaper Al Youm that approaches had been made for the 29-year-old forward in recent months.

“Offers have indeed arrived for Youssef En-Nesyri during the past period, in preparation for a move in the winter transfer window,” Sareh said.

However, the agent stressed that a departure is not currently under consideration and that En-Nesyri remains under contract with Al-Ittihad.

“The idea of En-Nesyri leaving Al-Ittihad is not on the table at the moment, and the player’s contract with the club is still valid,” he added.

Sareh said any decision over the striker’s future would rest with Al-Ittihad’s management, while insisting that En-Nesyri’s immediate priority was to continue his spell with the team.

“Any decision related to En-Nesyri’s future will be the responsibility of Al-Ittihad’s management, but the player’s focus at present is on continuing his journey with the team and achieving further success,” he said.

Strong start at Al-Ittihad

En-Nesyri joined Al-Ittihad during the last winter transfer window from Turkish club Fenerbahce. He was brought in to replace French striker Karim Benzema, who moved to Al-Ittihad’s traditional rivals Al-Hilal.

The Morocco international has made an impressive start to the current season under German manager Jens Wissing. He has played 16 matches, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

Those performances earned En-Nesyri a recall to the Morocco squad for the current international break. He had been absent from the Atlas Lions’ squad at the 2026 World Cup.

Morocco are scheduled to face Niger in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying competition on 13 November 2026. En-Nesyri is then due to return to domestic action when Al-Ittihad face Al-Khaleej in the Roshn Saudi League on 20 November 2026.
